The Bangtan Boys have submitted their world-famous track “Butter” for consideration in the 2022 Grammy Awards’ “Best Pop Duo/Group Category.”

BTS will be competing for the award together with other renowned names in the music industry. “Butter” will be going up against The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus’ “Without You,” 24kGoldn’s “Mood” featuring Iann Dior, Lizzo’s “Rumors” featuring Cardi B, and Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA.

After spending more than 10 weeks in first place on Hot 100, Billboard named BTS’s “Butter” as the “Song of The Summer” this 2021.

Last year, the septet had several entries in different categories. Their million-selling album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” was nominated in “Album of the Year,” “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical” and “Best Pop Vocal Album.”

Additionally, BTS’s “Dynamite” was competing for various categories like “Song of the Year,” “Best Music Video,” “Record of the Year” and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”

Unfortunately, the K-pop boy band failed to take home any awards. Even though they failed to earn an accolade, BTS made history by becoming the first K-pop group to be nominated at the Grammy Awards.

We wish BTS the best of luck on their 2022 Grammy Awards nomination.
