Because of this, ARMYs expressed their happiness with the news, especially when it has been confirmed by major news outlets that BTS Jimin has full credits for the film’s theme song.
It has also been revealed that a large part of the song will be played for a whole scene. This makes Jimin the first-ever artist from Korea to be featured in the credits of a Marvel film.
On October 23, the track “Friends” has been added to Marvel’s “Eternals” Spotify playlist.

In the aftermath of the wonderful news, “Friends” also became Jimin’s first-ever song to achieve a RIAJ Silver Certification in Japan last October 24 after amassing more than 30 million streams.
In March 2020, the song debuted at No. 56 on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 for being the highest-charting B-side from “MOTS: 7” album. It also ranked No. 2 after “ON” on Line Music Hot 100 Chart and placed No. 36 on the chart for streaming songs.
“Friends” achieved more than 126 million streams. It is also the most-streamed unit song from the “MOTS: 7” album. Another milestone is that it attained the Song of the Year award and ranked 10th on the Gaon Chart.
In commemoration of the song’s Spotify milestones, “JIMIN GLOBAL IT BOY” and “Congratulations Jimin” trended at spots No. 8 and 15 correspondingly, along with “#JiminIsTheStandard,” which trended at No. 44.
Aside from that, “JIMIN JIMIN” also reached more than 500K tweets.
