Kep1er Chaehyun, who once trained with aespa members when she was still under SM Entertainment, revealed that the senior idols congratulated her for her debut. Along with aespa, TXT Huening Kai also sent his warm welcome to his sister Huening Bahiyyih in the K-pop world.
On January 3, the newly-launched girl group Kep1er commemorated their debut on the same day through an online showcase.
In particular, the Top 9 from Mnet’s reality survival show, “Girls Planet 999” released their first album, “FIRST IMPACT” along with its title track, “WA DA DA.”

During the showcase, the host asked if what kind of support they received from people around them, and Kim Chaehyun unveiled her unrelenting closeness with her former fellow trainees, who are now in aespa.
“aespa sunbaenim called to congratulate (us) and said ‘Let’s meet in the waiting room at the broadcasting station soon,'” Chaehyun said as she gives a snippet from their call.

In addition to this, the center of Kep1er also expressed her anticipation to see aespa after not seeing them for a long time. “I couldn’t meet my seniors for a long time because they were busy, but I’m excited to see them,” she added.
In particular, Kim Chaehyun once trained under SM Entertainment for four years along with aespa (Karina, Winter, Giselle and NingNing). The rookie idol was presumed by fans to be part of the group’s lineup; however, Chaehyun apparently didn’t make it into the final cut.
Since then, internet users and other K-pop enthusiasts expressed their desire to see her with the “Next Level” singers and hope for a possible collaboration in the future.

“I talk to my older brother every day and he congratulated me on my debut. Not just me, but he also congratulated my members on their debut so I was very grateful,” Bahiyyih said.

On the other hand, Kep1er’s debut album “FIRST IMPACT” is an album that unravels the vast worldview of the newly released “Kep1er” and the colorful individuality of nine girls. The title song “WA DA DA” is a song that depicts the girls’ confident aspirations with energetic and lovely charm, and its powerful and girlish performance is impressive.
